Wedding Cake Design:
We specialise in designing beautiful one a kind wedding cakes. Of course they have to taste amazing - but we spend as much time making sure they look incredible too. For every wedding cake we design we produce a detailed colour sketch to ensure we share the same vision and we are often sent colour samples by couples who want us to ensure are colours and tones blend into the wedding scheme perfectly.

Consultation:
As our designs are bespoke we offer a no obligation consultation for all wedding and large event cakes. We'll invite you to join us in our recently refurbished kitchen and showroom in Westend Gloucestershire enabling you to see the quality and standard of our work. Seeing the array of cakes we have on display gives you a real sense of size and scale and can really help the ideas to start to flow.
We will provide a selection of freshly baked cake samples (we usually recommend trying 2-3 different flavours) for you to taste and whilst we have a cup of tea and discuss all the important elements of your big day.
It can be really helpful if you know the following before arranging a consultation:
The date and venue for your wedding.
The number of guests you are planning to invite.
Any colours, themes, styling or floral decorations that may be an important part of your wedding reception.
Following the consultation we will provide you with a quote and a copy of the colour sketch of the design we have created for you to help you decide if you would like to proceed with an order.
Cake stand and knife hire:
We have a range of cake accessories for hire such as cake stands and knives so we can also discuss how you might like to display your cake on the day. In many circumstances your venue or catering company will supply these items and we often have information available on what is included in your wedding package with a particular venue.
Celebration and Special Occasion Cakes:
Many smaller celebration and special occasion cakes can be designed and agreed by phone and email. Quite often its the little details that make things personal.
Delivery and Collection:
We will deliver and set up your cake free of charge if you require delivery within a 10 mile radius of our kitchen in Westend and your order is over £100. Delivery charges are calculated thereafter according to mileage and the time in which it takes us to deliver and set up the cake. Delivery charges are clearly identified on all of our quotes prior to order confirmation.
Delivery of your cake is always agreed prior to the day of the event and we can often deal directly with venues to ensure that cake display tables and are set up correctly and the cake is exactly where you wanted it at a time that works for your venue. We will work with your venue co-ordinator or planner to make sure that we deliver (wherever possible) at a time thats convenient for them and prior to your guests arrival.
Some cakes (such as single tier or small celebration cakes) can be collected from our kitchen but we do not advise this for tiered cakes as we cannot accept any liability for any damages once a cake has been collected from our kitchen.
Deposits and Payments:
A 50% non refundable deposit is required at time of order. The balance is due 2 weeks prior to the event. Cakes will not be delivered if payment has not been received (and cleared) in full. Payments can be made by Cheque or Internet Banking.
